If the pavement is bone dry, then you will need to pre-wet it with water. Use a water cart or a spray unit capable of delivering a uniform spray to the surface of the pavement. Complete a test area spraying to calibrate the flow and speed of vehicle to get the specified amount of product onto the pavement. Pre-shaping the road and using a roller on site to follow behind the water cart will give your treatment longevity and a smooth finish but is not generally required.

Yes you can store RDC outside for up to 12 months in a cool dry place. The easiest way to store your RDC is in totes or in a tank that can hold heavy liquids (1.3 SG).

RDC has a SG of between 1.24 and 1.3 which needs to be accounted for when shipping or storing the product.

Yes RDC is approved pursuant to the EPA Approval Code: Construction Products (subsidiary) – HSR002544 Most NZ Councils do not need approval for RDC as it is an approved activity, however where consent is required, Gravel Lock has or, will gain the correct approvals.
